Pastors
Senior & Lead Pastors Miguel & Janelle Adorno |
Miguel Adorno, born in Bronx New York, relocated to Central Florida in 1991. Janelle Adorno, born in Manhattan New York relocated to Central Florida in 1989. Miguel and Janelle where Church leaders for eight years when they heard the call from God upon their lives. They where originally called in by the executive office of the Spanish District of the Assemblies of God to plant a Church. Miguel and Janelle said, "No, God is calling us with a dream to lead an unconventional Church". They both envisioned a Church serving the inner-city’s physical and spiritual needs. And so what began as serving the homeless on the sidewalk and embracing women in human trafficking soon transformed into the Orlando Dream Center.
|
The Orlando Dream Center became a resource center with a food pantry, baby and senior diaper assistance, to outreach programs and more. For years, the Dream Center held small groups and outreach services in various locations. As the crowds grow each week, Pastors understood the depth of the call. Pastors have been praying that God will provide a permanent site nearby. God has answered many of their prayers! In 2018, Pastor Miguel and Janelle have embraced becoming the Senior Pastors of URCHURCH.LIFE. The two now lead the Dream Center and URCHURCH.LIFE , reaching hundreds of people weekly. Both have been individually recognized by leaders, the media, and fellow organizations for their outstanding contributions to the community.
Associate Pastors Jose D. & Tanya Rodriguez
Jose Rodriguez, born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, relocated to Central Florida in November of 2003. Tanya Rodriguez, born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, relocated to Central Florida in October of 2003. Jose was born and raised in a church where his parents were pastors. After many years, His father retired from being a Pastor. Jose and Tanya were church leaders for 14 years. In these 14 years, Jose and Tanya had the opportunity to lead in worship and to lead men and women closer to God. For three of the 14 years that Jose and Tanya served in the church, they worked with Pastors Miguel and Janelle Adorno with the dream center. They worked with Pastors Adorno when the dream center was a starting up. After these 14 years of serving and leading, Jose and Tanya decided to take 5 years to pray and seek God for direction because of some things that were occurring in their family; they were placing their house in order.
|
In these 5 years, God healed and molded them to have a better marriage, to become better parents and leaders. In the end of those 5 years Jose and Tanya were praying for their next steps. Coincidentally, in the end of those 5 years, Jose and Tanya crossed paths with Pastors Miguel and Janelle Adorno once again. After meeting with them, Jose and Tanya decided to serve as leaders in URCHURCH. After serving in URCHURCH and praying, God has given the opportunity for Tanya and Jose to step into their calling as assistant pastors alongside Daniel and Yaneisy Maldonado. Pastors Jose and Tanya Rodriguez now gladly serve and lead at URCHURCH and are always ready to serve the community.
Associate Pastors of Children's Ministry
|
Daniel Maldonado was born in Chicago, Illinois. A few years later his family moved to Puerto Rico where he spent most of his childhood, until 2003 when he moved to Central Florida. Yaneisy Maldonado was born in La Habana, Cuba, and in 2007 she relocated to Central Florida.
They joined Pastors Miguel and Janelle Adorno in their vision for the outreach ministry in 2013, serving the homeless and embracing the women in human trafficking, which today is known as the Orlando Dream Center; a resource center available to those in need in the community. For several years Daniel and Yaneisy served as leaders in children's ministry, as well as in media, making sure the Word of God reaches the masses, and their worship experience is unique for those who come to receive physically, and also through technology. |
Both Daniel and Yaneisy have a heart for missions and true servanthood. That is why for all these years they have embraced the Dream Center as part of URChurch USA Missions, and the expansion to other countries such as Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Colombia.
In 2019, God opened the door and gave them the opportunity to stand in front of students. What started as a simple visit to Walker Middle School and Oakridge Highschool, soon became a desire in their hearts. Daniel and Yaneisy love being able to mentor and guide the youth. Their goal is to prepare the younger generation to live a purpose-driven life, recognizing who they are in Christ, to make a difference; at their school, in their community, at their job, or wherever they go by walking according to the will of God. After faithfully serving in many areas at URChurch under the leadership of Pastors Miguel and Janelle Adorno, the Lord has given Daniel and Yaneisy the opportunity to step into their calling as Assistant Pastors, and with humble hearts they gladly continue to serve and lead at URChurch and in their community.

Pastor Abigail Rodriguez
Abigail Rodriguez, born in Bronx New York, relocated to Central Florida in 2003. Abigail was born and raised in church. She started singing and playing piano at the age of 12. She has always had a passion for worshiping and serving God. From a very young age, Abigail knew that she was called into full time ministry. Even through the “shaky” roads, when Abigail graduated high school in 2017, she decided to go to college for ministry and apply for Mainstream Leadership College. This Internship program trained her spiritually, physically, mentally, educationally and emotionally to become a minister and a Worship Pastor. In the three years that she was in this internship program, God really molded her character and gave her the opportunity to worship at different churches in different events. This internship program really taught Abigail the importance of serving others, the importance of discipline, and most importantly how to continually seek God and fall in love with Him everyday.
|
Abigail has now taken everything she has learned and applied it into the Worship ministry that God has placed in her life in URCHURCH.LIFE. She is now the Worship Pastor of URCHURCH.LIFE. She is helping others be guided into the presence of God through worship, and helping others grow in their gifts and talents for His Kingdom and Glory.
