So you say you want to give up....
Let's be real don't we all want to give up at one point. Yep just one day give it all up.. You find yourself saying Im just so tired of the same all thing! I see nothing coming out of this! Not knowing what's going to happen, not knowing if it's even worth it.
I got a story to share with you... I've been a born again Christian for about 10 plus years let
me say 10 long and trying years....
In these years I have encountered the glory of God and have seen Him move in a mighty way ... however, that does not mean that at times I don't want to just give up cause in all honest I do!
You see the real deal is that I am a human! Yes I sure am! If you cut me I will bleed.
Let's just say good things don't come easy! What you work hard at will have everlasting results.
What comes easy... easy goes you get it right?
In this journey I personally have seen a lot, too many things if you ask me ... things to discourage me from what God has promised me. I have had to close my eyes and walk... walk in the unknown.
I have experienced ministerial jealousy, envy, hate, deceitfulness, I have experienced women throwing themselves at my spouse, looking to destroy our marriage, many lies and false accusations, opposition from here and there and so much more...
We started in the ministry back in 2014, we have moved six times since then. I know that's a huge eye opener. What an unstable group... go ahead say it!
From a shoe box space to a huge school then from there to sharing a church space that was a huge lesson learned to getting our own space which after nine months led us back to sharing a church space for one month to leave there after being mislead to have to rent a hotel meeting room and then another hotel meeting room and now out again because our worship is too loud... scream persecution with me!!
Just give up already!!!!
Really.. what would Jesus do? That's the question?
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
It's ok to feel like giving up. But we have to run back into His word that shares with us that giving up is not an option. The greater the call is upon your life the more difficult it will be. You see what's in you is so powerful that there will be many road blocks in the way just so what you have may remain trapped. Many things to take you till that exact point! Just give up!
People will come and go, hurt you abuse you and forget all about you but God won't. He see's His faithful servant and says you have not given up "Good and Faithful One"
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
I want to say to you whomever reads this. There's more don't give up ... learn to know that "Giving up is not an Option" it's not part of who you are or even your vocabulary! Don't say it, don't do it!
The tougher the ride gets the greater is your purpose. What God wants to do with you, not many can handle. God knew you could and you would! Keep going!
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
