As we wrap of the month of April we start with a new sermon series called Kingdom Life....
I shared with the church that everyone wants to live a Kingdom Life but does not want to pay the price that it requires. Few things which are not hard at all. It will require us to training our minds to think a different way.
Learning to be meek, merciful and a peacemaker are a few.
You see living the Kingdom Life will require sacrifice and commitment as well. Many other things come along with this lifestyle. When I first came to Christ I really did not know what it meant when people would say its a lifestyle. What in the world where they talking about... let me share with you.
In this walk you can choose to become a member of a church or a Kingdom Citizen. A member would be someone who just shows up in another words I am here but don't ask to much of me. A Kingdom Citizen knows where they stand and understands that they take part in an important roll of the Kingdom of God they also understand that many situations may arise but they will not be moved or shaken. In this walk you will meet so many people that will say I'm with you, I got you but truly at the end of the day no one is there and no one has you especially if there is no motive in it for themselves, we live in a shameful, selfish world. This you don't have to worry about with Jesus because He is with you no matter what. In this walk your going to make mistakes but that will never exempt you from the love and faithfulness of Jesus. He is still going to accept you and be there for you. Even when you don't do what He wants you to do. That's the difference that's my point. As a Kingdom Citizen you know this and because you know this you will be persecuted, you will be rejected, you will made to some people non existent. However, the GOOD NEWS.... God did not create you to associate with such non-sense.
No one can remove the Joy of a Kingdom Citizen. No one can remove your praise. No one can take you into a place of non-existence when your existence is of the only one that matters which is your Abba Father. You see you don't have to be someone you are Not because you are already Someone!
Matthew 5 speaks about the Beatitudes and this is what Jesus was teaching to His true disciples who had come to him to learn from him. He wanted to prepare them for what was to come. You see as you learn this, your prepared for when your set aside, when your pushed away and understand it's because what is in you is to powerful to be diluted and or mixed. Stay true to your call as a Kingdom Citizen. Remain humble, merciful and above all with a Pure Heart. For as the Father says... Father forgive them for they not know what they have done.
I stand grateful to Our Father who knows very well in advance the plans that He has for each of us and they are never to harm us.
Stay true to who God has called you to be even if it means you stand alone. Remember your not a member of a network, clan, group or so on your a true Kingdom Citizen.
